I appreciated staying here and would come here again. Had a great 2 night-stay from the moment I checked-in. Awesome remote location not far from Alton Towers and the Peak District, Staffordshire and a great pub. I was upgraded to a bright family room. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, used an electric kettle, central heating, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The hotel's staff was very kind. " I had a wonderful stay at Shawgate Farm Guest House. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and valued. the location of the guest house is perfect for exploring Alton Towers, the Peak District, and Staffordshire. there is a charming pub nearby and a family zoo just 4 km away. I was pleasantly surprised when I was upgraded to a spacious family room with all the amenities I needed, including a cozy bed, electric kettle, central heating, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and made my stay even more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning to this lovely guest house in the future.

Very nice experience there. Fairly clean place with accommodating staff. Location - stunning, close enough to Goose pub down the road, Alton Towers and a taxi. Also, in a lovely area.

The hotel was in a beautiful, quiet location but really well situated as Alton Towers was only a few miles away. The family room for 5 people was spacious, clean and ideal for us. The owner, Nina, was welcoming and friendly. There is a lovely pub within walking distance in the village where we had a really good evening meal. Breakfast at the guest house delicious and plenty of it, with local specialities such as Staffordshire oatcakes included. We would definately stay here again.

Regular visitor, great for Alton Towers, new owners but still great service. Bar in the evening wasn't open on this occasion but hopefully restored for next year.
Friendly, inviting and clean all at a good price.
